EILEEN GRACE MORGAN

April 6, 2008

MORGAN, EILEEN GRACE

(April 10, 1937 - April 6, 2008)

Eileen was born in Chemainus, BC and spent the better part of her life there. Eileen worked as a secretary for the Government of BC in both Duncan and Nanaimo offices until the early 90's. She was predeceased by her parents Richard (Dickie) and Norah Duncan (nee Flint). Eileen is survived by her teenage sweetheart, husband William (Bill) Morgan; sisters Sarah Duncan and Norah (Bruce) Anderson; sons David (Erin) Gardner, Robert (Jenn) Gardner and daughter Shona (Chris) Gardner-Legault; stepsons Stuart (Darlene) Morgan and Brian Morgan; grandchildren Christopher, Sarah, Keryl, Garrett, Brennan, R.D., Dustin, and Josephine; one great-granddaughter (Lexus), and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was a life member of the Chemainus Legion; volunteered many hours to the Chemainus Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop, and Chemainus Meals on Wheels. One of Triple E's (Electrifying Elegant Eileen's) favourite pastimes spent with husband Bill was singing karaoke locally and on the road uplifting many seniors' hearts along the way. Famous for her costumes and her enthusiasm shared with her legion ladies, she was always a stand out in skits and parades.

There will be a private family gathering.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chemainus Hospital Auxiliary would be gratefully appreciated.

Eileen will be greatly missed by many dear friends and family.
