Hungar, Dorothy (Nee Pick)
Born in Nottingham, England, Oct. 11, 1916. After a valiant battle with parkinson’s it is with great sorrow and loving memories that we announce the passing of Dorothy, March 26, 2008. Loving mother to son Bob (Karen), daughter Joan Cooper (Tom), grandchildren Jocelyn and Julie Cooper, grandsons Schaelen and Arron Hungar.
Mom always lit up the room with her beautiful smile and positive attitude, she taught us all the lesson of making the most of everyday.
An active member of the Nanaimo Golf Club, her bridge games, travelling, gardening and most of all enjoying her family were her greatest pleasures.
We love and will miss you dearly. Thank you to the caring staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village, Dr. Robin Love and Dr. L. Myronuk.
