It is with great sadness that we say Good-bye to
DEREK A. ROBERTS.
Born May 26, 1939 - passed away peacefully December 6, 2003 in Nanaimo. Derek was predeceased by his eldest son Derek Jr. He is survived by his wife Gail and children; Colin, Nigel (Laura), Lesley (Ian), Joanne (Dave) and Lisa. Derek was blessed with eleven grandchildren; Crystal, Brandon, Spencer, Natasha, Annika, Sarah, Nicholas, Thomas, Jessica, Geordie and Jackson, his brother David (Alison) and sister Gwyneth (Dave) and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation to honour Derek’s efforts in fundraising.
A Celebration will be held at the
Salvation Army Church, 505 8th St., Nanaimo
on Friday December 12, 2003 at 3:00pm
