We regret to announce that Carol passed away at her home after a lengthy illness. She will be sadly missed by her: husband Mel, daughter Shelley (Jeff), sons Shaun and Shane (Ashlea), her father and mother Orville and Isla Fenner, brother Ken Fenner (Susan), grandchildren Christina, Sierra, Kaela and Brittney; and her nephews Ken (Tracy), Joe (Jen), Mike and Dave. Carol was born in Bengough, Saskatchewan and grew up in Portage La Prairie Manitoba. She trained as a Registered Nurse in Winnipeg and worked in Necpawa and Portage La Prairie before spending several years in Beaumont, Texas where she worked as a nurse for Ultimate Home Health Care. She returned with her family to Canada in 1989 and settled in Ladysmith. At Carol's request there will be a cremation and no service. In lieu of flowers and to honor Carol's life, donations to the B.C. Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
