We are sad to announce that Brian Bourque, of Nanaimo and formerly of Kelowna, died peacefully in his sleep early on September 21, 2010, after a brief fight with cancer.
Brian is survived by his loving partner, Deb Hird; his brother, Don; his son, Brendan (Taya) of Vancouver, and his daughter, Lorraine, and grandson, Zoa, both of Courtenay. He was predeceased by his father, Claude, and mother, Blanche. Brian faced his death the same way he faced life: with dignity and a sense of humour. He will also be missed by Kelly Anne and his many friends and business associates in the flooring industry.
