Haugland, Borghild Johanna
Beloved mother and grandmother born August 4, 1920 passed away in the home of her son John, his wife Janeth Haugland on Sunday April 6, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband, Nikolai Haugland and leaves behind her loving family; two sons Nils, John and his wife Janeth Haugland and three daughters, Anne Singbeil and her husband Frank, Linda Defehr and husband Ken, Nancy Haugland and husband Collin Dorman and also Borghild’s ten grandchildren, Ashley, Nick and Michael Haugland, Jenna and Lindsay Singbeil, David, Kristy, and Kailey Defehr and Hallie and Wylie Dorman, one brother Hans and wife Olga, sister-in-law Astrid and brother-in-law Arne in Norway. Borghild will always be remembered and her influence treasured in the hearts and lives of all who knew her and loved her. A Celebration of Borghild’s life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 2:00pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC
