Brown, Berthanee Bertram, native daughter of Nanaimo, passed away October 25, 2002. Predeceased by six siblings. Survived by Gay, husband of 66 years, Keith and Jill Brown (son), granddaughter Jessica, sister Jenny Inkster, C.B. (Tip) and Cis Bertram (brother) and numerous family members to whom she was known as Auntie “B”. Family wishes to thank the nurses on the 4th floor at Nanaimo Hospital and Dr. Beerman for the loving care of Bertha. A family service will be followed by a reception for friends at Nanaimo Golf and Country Club, November 1, 2002 at 2pm. Donations in memory of Bertha may be made to Nanaimo Regional Hospital Foundation.
