Born Aug. 20, 1934 in Riga, Latvia, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on December 22, 2005. He fought a brief and courageous battle against pancreatic cancer with all the tenacity we know him for. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Helga Reintgen von Wolff, their four children and their families. To all his many friends please know that he suffered no pain and by his own request there was no formal ceremony. May he sleep well.
