MATTHEWS, Barbara J.
Born in Vancouver on January 12, 1944 passed away peacefully on March 4, 2003 in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Predeceased by her mother and father, survived by: her husband Roy, son Shane (Theresa) Matthews, Danny (Molly), two grandchildren Tonalee and Devin, sister Mary of Australia, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Saturday March 8, 2003, 3:00pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC with Reverend Fred Massey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nanaimo Hospice Society, 1729 Boundary Crescent, Nanaimo, BC V9S 4P3.
