Kirby, Anne
Anne Kirby passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2005 at Dufferin Place, Nanaimo, B.C. at the age of 80. Born in Vancouver, she had been a resident of Nanaimo for the past fifteen years, and most recently resided at Long Lake Chateau. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Don. She is survived by her only daughter, Karen Waterman, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She had a great affinity for "angels" and will be remembered for her generosity and as an "Angel of help" to friends and strangers alike. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6th, at 11:00am, in the Chapel at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, B.C. Reception and refreshments too follow. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society in Anne's memory would be appreciated.
