ANDREW HAILSTONE MCKINLEY
1919-2010
Born in the Diamond District of Ladysmith, BC, December 16, 1919. Passed away in Ladysmith, BC March 23, 2010.
Andrew is survived by his wife Inez; sister Effie Twa; sons Andrew and Reg (Kim); daughter Dianne; stepsons David (Shirley), Dexter (Raeann); and step-daughter Diane. Seven grandchildren: Darryl, Angela, Ryan, Mark, Tracy, Tiffanie and Andrea. Six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his first wife Ellen, sister Margaret,brothers Joseph, John and Jim, and grandson Shawn.
Andrew was a Veteran of WWII and served overseas for 4½ years. Upon returning to Ladysmith he worked for Macmillan Bloedel until retiring in 1985. Andrew served as a Chairman of the Board for 21 years with the Diamond District, and enjoyed life to the fullest.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff on the 4th floor at the Lodge on 4th for their care and compassion.

Celebration of Life to be held on March 31, 2010 at the Eagle's Hall in Ladysmith, BC from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
