It is with great sadness we announce the passing on August 21, 2010 of our Dad, Mac. A native son of Nanaimo, born August 1920.
Predeceased by his wife of 63 years Muriel; and survived by his sons David and Glenn (Natalie); one granddaughter Candice; sisters Kay Sharpe of Port Alberni and Bunny Anderson of Nanaimo; brother Roderick McKenzie of Vancouver, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mac served in the Canadian Armed Forces in Europe from 1939 – 1946, and was a long time employee of Eatons for 45 years. Mac was an avid fisherman and loved reading.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully declined, donations in memory of Mac may be made to the Salvation Army.
