MERSEREAU, Alder Lee (Pud) March 1925 - May 2007 Beloved husband of Theresa (Terry) Mersereau, married for 61 years. Born in Fredericton, NB, Alder was a Locomotive Engineer for the C.N. Rail in New Brunswick until transferring to Prince Rupert, BC in 1969, then to Jasper, AR in 1974. After retirement in 1981 Alder settled in Nanaimo, BC. He is survived by his two sons Paul (Val!) of Port Perry, Ont, and Roland (Butch) and wife Mary in Calgary, AB, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by 2 sons, Jean 6 months old in 1954, and Gary 16 years old in 1968, his parents Walter and Neddy Mersereau of Napadogan, NB. Cremation and burial in Edmundston, NB a Memorial Mass was held May 9th, 2007 in Nanaimo, BC. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation or Lung Association of Canada.
