We lost our Dear Mom at 96 years of age on Tuesday night. She was pre deceased by her husband Bill (1993) and her 7 siblings. She is survived by her daughters Bev Doumont (Ken), Marlene Foran (Richard), Doris Frain and son Marvin (Susy); 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She was also fortunate to have 6 step-children and their families. Remaining also are numerous nieces and nephews. Adele worked for many years at Eaton’s downtown and was known for unique voice and her sense of humor. She was also an avid gardener, fabulous cook and lived her life for her family. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. She was a member of St. Andrew’s United Church Women’s group – Norma Wingfield Branch. A service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 311 Fitzwilliam Street; Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11am, Reception to follow in the Church Hall.


In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Andrew’s United Church Capital Campaign or the B.C. Lung Association.


The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Good Samaritan Canada, Wexford Creek.
