Three vehicles were involved in a crash along the old Island Highway on Tuesday evening.
Nanaimo Fire Rescue, Nanaimo RCMP and B.C. Ambulance attended the accident at the intersection of the highway and Waddington Road at about 5:30 p.m. Two cars and a pickup truck were involved.
One southbound highway lane was closed and there was no access through the intersection while crews cleared the scene.
RCMP warned drivers earlier in the day to be cautious on wet roads following a series of crashes Tuesday morning.
