Two work trucks were broken into on East Wellington Road in Nanaimo on Aug. 30

Suspects scaled a barbed-wire fence to steal a chainsaw and other tools last month.

According to a Crime Stoppers unsolved crimes report provided by Nanaimo RCMP this past week, two trucks belonging to Vancouver Island Powerline were broken into on East Wellington Road on Aug. 30.

A Husqvarna chainsaw was stolen along with bolt cutters chain jacks and various other tools.
