One man has been taken to Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a motorcycle and an SUV collided at the Stewart Avenue and Poplar Street intersection.
The accident happened at about 4 p.m.
Stewart Avenue was blocked as emergency crews dealt with the scene.
The motorcyclist was conscious when he was taken to hospital.
The crash is under investigation and information will be updated as it becomes available.
