Police believe suspects crawled under a fence to steal a generator from a business in Nanaimo earlier this month.
According to a Crime Stoppers report provided by Nanaimo RCMP, a red Honda generator was stolen sometime overnight Nov. 9 from Raylec Power on Maughan Road.
“It appears the suspects may have crawled under the surrounding fence to gain access to the compound,” the report noted.
The generator was locked in the back of a truck, but thieves cut the lock.
