With the fall semester about to begin at Vancouver Island University, freshman students had the opportunity to get a feel for post-secondary school life on Thursday.
The university held its Rock VIU: Welcome 2 Campus kick-off event allowing new students to tour the Nanaimo campus, learn about services and meet other students and faculty.
