Nanaimo RCMP seek public’s help to identify fraud suspect

Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a male suspected of committing fraud with a credit card stolen during a break-and-enter.

The original break-in was reported at approximately 8 a.m. on March 15 and occurred at a home in the 600 block of Nicol Street. Several hours later, a male suspect allegedly used a credit card taken during the break-andenter to purchase items at various downtown Nanaimo businesses.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years old with short cropped hair, wearing a dark-coloured fedora.
