One man was taken to Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after his motorcycle and a car collided at the intersection of Bowen Road and James Way in Nanaimo this afternoon (Sept. 11).
The accident happened shortly before 1 p.m. when Nanaimo Fire Rescue, B.C. Ambulance and RCMP responded to the scene.
Traffic was diverted from the southbound lanes of Bowen Road at Meredith Road until the patient and vehicles could be removed.
The wreck has since been cleared and police are investigating.
