Residents in Lantzville will be able to voice their opinions and concerns about the future of water and development in Lantzville next week.

The District of Lantzville will be hosting an open house at Costin Hall on Wednesday (June 28), when district staff and representatives from Lanarc Consultants will provide an update on their ongoing water master plan and official community plan update.

Frank Limshue, the district’s community planner, said residents can hear about and offer their thoughts on the latest community survey results, which have been available on the district’s website since May.

“We will have results of the survey and we will have some general recommendations for the water master plan,” he said. “We will also be discussing the some policy direction for the official community plan and certainly it is an opportunity for the public to provide feedback.”

Lantzville has been working on a water master plan and an OCP update since last Fall and is hoping to have both items completed before the end of the year.

The open house runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.lantzville.ca.
