Firefighters put out blaze on Pryde Avenue

Nanaimo Fire Rescue crews put out a fire at the Madrona Village complex on Sunday, Feb. 25

Crews put out a fire at the Madrona Village complex on Pryde Avenue on Sunday night.

Nanaimo Fire Rescue was called out at about 9:10 p.m. and flames were visible in an upstairs unit when firefighters arrived.

It appeared that no one was hurt.
