A firefighter makes his initial attack on a pickup truck fully engulfed in flame Wednesday morning in an alleyway that parallels Nicol Street between Farquhar and Needham streets.

Alan Millbank, Nanaimo Fire Rescue fire prevention officer, said the fire appeared to have been intentionally set and the truck was stolen. No injuries were reported. Police are investigating.
