Nanaimo RCMP are investigating an indecent exposure incident at Westwood Lake.

At about 4 p.m. Wednesday a man exposed himself to a female jogger near the first beach in Westwood Lake Park.

The jogger called police who swarmed the area and brought in a police dog search team, but were unable to track down the suspect, who was described as Caucasian, just under six feet tall with shaggy brown hair and appeared to be extremely sunburned.

The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, light-colour pants and work boots that were extremely dusty and not fully laced up.

Anyone with information about this individual is asked to call 911, Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.nanaimocrimestoppers.com.
