Watering restrictions in place in Nanaimo for summer months

Nanaimo residents and businesses are reminded that watering restrictions are in place from June 1 through Sept. 30.

Even-numbered addresses can water on the even days of the month (June 2, 4, 6, etc.). Odd-numbered addresses can water on the odd days of the month (June 1, 3, 5, etc.)

No outdoor watering is permitted between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Parking lot or driveway washing with tap water is not permitted during the period of restrictions. Car washing is permitted on regular watering days, as long as it is not between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

For more information on watering restrictions, please visit the city’s website at www.nanaimo.ca.
