Westwood Lake boating accident victim identified

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of the victim of a boating accident on Westwood Lake Tuesday.

Michael Jeffery Little, 63, of Nanaimo, was airlifted to Victoria General Hospital after the boat he and another man were in overturned.

Little, who was under water for several minutes, died in hospital Wednesday after efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
