Manager picked to run new downtown Nanaimo night market

The Downtown Nanaimo Business Improvement Association has selected a person to manage its new Friday evening farmers’ market.

With experience as owner of Chameleon Marketing and Events and manager of the Duncan Farmers’ Market, Dale Letourneau has been hired as the contractor who will help establish the market at Diana Krall Plaza.

Letourneau is compiling a vendor list for the market and all products and work must receive approval in order to meet the market’s standards.

The night market will run May 2 to Sept. 26, from 4-8 p.m.

Interested vendors can direct inquiries to nanaimoeveningmarket@shaw.ca.
