No foul play found in fatal fire

Investigators do not believe foul play is involved in a garage fire that claimed a person's life in Lantzville Tuesday.

While no foul play has been discovered, police have yet to determine who the victim was and are relying on dental records to hopefully make a positive identification.

A forensic autopsy will also be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Once the results of the identification process and autopsy are reviewed, the case will be turned over to the B.C. Coroners Service for further investigation.
