Coroner identifies woman found deceased in Lantzville
A woman whose body was discovered in Lantzville has been identified by the B.C. Coroner's Service.
Brenda Lancaster, 59, a Lantville resident, was found deceased by joggers on Peterson Road early Tuesday morning.
A police investigation of the scene where Lancaster's body was discovered determined no foul play was involved in her death and the case was turned over to the B.C. Coroner's Service.
The coroner's investigation into the cause of Lancaster's death is continuing.
"At this point it's undetermined," said Matt Brown, regional coroner, on Wednesday. "It's certainly an unfortunate incident and we don't know a whole lot at this point."
