UPDATE: Missing Nanaimo man located
UPDATE: RCMP issued a press release at 11:35 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 9) that the man was located and his family notified.
Police have issued an arrest warrant under the Mental Health Act for a man who left Nanaimo Regional General Hospital without permission.
Cory Craigory Krushell, 20, has been missing since he walked away from the hospital at about 7 p.m. Monday.
Krushell suffers from an unspecified significant medical condition, might be in distress and could become paranoid and confrontational if he does not receive his prescribed medication, police said.
Krushell will respond to the first names Jack or Cory. He is 5' 7" tall, weighs 160 pounds and has a scraggly brown beard, brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who knows Krushell's the whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
