Nanaimo RCMP get counterfeit cash complaints

Nanaimo Mounties are warning merchants to carefully check $20 bills.

Police received reports the counterfeit bills were circulating in Nanaimo during the week of March 17. The bills were passed at various locations around the city.

Police said they have so far not found the person or people responsible for passing the bills.
