Falcon to visit Nanaimo

The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce and Vancouver Island Real Estate Board are teaming up to host the province's top financial officer.
Finance Minister Kevin Falcon will be at the Newcastle Island lobby at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre at 10 a.m. on Friday (Jan. 13).
Falcon is expected to reflect upon the effect of continued external factors that present a risk for the provincial financial outlook, as well as sharing options for British Columbians to keep B.C.'s economy growing.
There is no charge to attend the reception and the public is welcome, but the chamber requires registration to attend by calling 250-756-1191.
