Country Grocer coming to Bowen Road

A new grocery store will likely soon be coming to Bowen Road.
Island West Coast Developments, on behalf of Green Rock Developments, has applied to build a Country Grocer and Toronto Dominion bank at 1865 Bowen Rd.
The application has the approval of city staff and the city's Design Advisory Panel, and council is expected to approve the 4,402-square-metre grocery store and 488-square-metre bank with a few minor variances as well.
The applicant says the two-storey building will be modeled after its Chase River location, but will be modified for a more urban setting.
