Nanaimo-Alberni candidates' forum tonight

Voters in Nanaimo-Alberni get their chance to grill the federal election candidates tonight (April 28).

The Vancouver Island Real Estate Board has teamed up with Island Radio and the News Bulletin to host two all-candidate meetings in Nanaimo.

Candidates from the four main political parties have pledged to turn out for meetings, but the invitation has also been extended to fringe-party candidates.

Nanaimo-Alberni candidates meet at Dover Bay Secondary School, 6135 McGirr Rd., Thursday (April 28) 7-9 p.m.

Nanaimo-Cowichan riding candidates met Tuesday.
