Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular is hosting auditions to find singers and dancers for this year’s event.
Auditions are June 9-10 at Scotiabank Dance Studio, located at 677 Davies St., in Vancouver.
Vocal auditions are held June 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The organization is seeking four singers who will be asked to prepare a classical piece, musical theatre or pop song expert and one Christmas song, done a cappella. Roles will also include readings and storytelling.
Possible call-backs will be June 10 at 1 p.m.
Dance auditions are June 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The organization is seeking four female dancers who know tap, jazz, Broadway or ballet. People will need to come prepared to learn different styles of dance choreography.
Possible call-backs will be noon that day.

This year’s event includes musical tributes to the Beatles, Nina Simone and Rod Stewart and Broadway songs from Mary Poppins and Top Gun. It also includes classical hits and Christmas songs.
The contract will be between Nov. 13 and Dec. 17 for shows at Nanaimo’s Port Theatre, Courtenay’s Sid Williams Theatre and Victoria’s McPhearson Theatre.
