Whisky festival raises money for dance society

The 11th annual Nanaimo Whisk(e)y Festival is the place to be Friday (March 28) for scotch sampling. The festival, also referred to as The Wee Tipple Party, is a fundraising event that benefits the Crimson Coast Dance Society and features representatives from various distilleries, who will be offering samples of their products in a safe and informative environment.

Sampling begins at 7 p.m. and advanced tickets can be purchased for $75 at the Grand Hotel or Crimson Coast. For more, please call 250-716-3230 or visit www.crimsoncoastdance.org.
