Extras needed for shoot
Extras are needed for filming of a movie in Nanaimo in late March.
A casting call happens this weekend for the movie Nautilus, filming in the Nanaimo area March 21-26.
Casting directors are looking for men, women and children of all ages. They are specifically looking for people with military training or first responders.
Potential extras must be comfortable to be clean shaven with a military haircut.
They must also be Canadian residents, and all children under 17 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian to the casting call, plus while on set.
More adults than children are required for the film.
At the casting call, directors will take photos and ask people to fill out information sheets. Bring a pen and knowledge of measurements – height, weight, waist, chest and shoe size.
The casting call runs Friday (Feb. 15), 5-9 p.m., and Saturday (Feb. 16), 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Coast Bastion Inn’s Benson ballroom.
People unable to attend can still forward a picture, sizes and contact information to nautilus
