Swan song: art exhibit in Nanaimo

Virginia Kwok’s ink on paper artwork Ostriches is part of When Nature Called, a new exhibit at the downtown Nanaimo Art Gallery.

Kwok, Tani Hamagishi-Allen and Lara Scarr are emerging contemporary artists drawing on diverse themes.

The exhibition runs until May 22, with an opening reception Saturday (May 12), from 2-4 p.m.
