Artist exhibits first solo show

A Gabriola artist will exhibit a series of watercolours in his first solo show at the Centre Gallery.

Terry Nimmon, a retired ear, nose and throat surgeon, is primarily self-taught, as well as some studying with local artists. His watercolours are primarily of scenes around Gabriola Island.

Nimmon’s works will be up at the Centre Gallery, located at the Gabriola Professional Centre, 590 North Rd., Jan. 13 to April 2. An opening reception is set for Sunday (Jan. 13), 1-4 p.m. For more information, please visit www.terrynimmon.com.
