Nanoose artists open studios
Eleven eclectic Nanoose Bay artists are preparing to open their studios to the public on Saturday (March 19).
The artists are participants in the annual Nanoose Bay Studio Tour, which continues during the summer and concludes with the popular Thanksgiving weekend tour.
The opening event is poised to coincide with the annual Brant Wildlife Festival taking place in Oceanside.
It is two years since the Nanoose Bay Studio Tour began and the number of artists has increased to a total of 19. Artists work in painting, pottery, photography, wood turning, driftwood, native jewelry and more.
Some of the studios are open year round, while others participate in special events only.
