The Children’s Wish Foundation is asking the community to help with its wish-granting efforts. There are a few days left in Children’s Wish Month, when the foundation teams with Pacific Blue Cross, which provides travel insurance associated with wish-granting.
Children’s Wish Foundation aims to fulfill wishes of kids diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. Four wishes have been granted in Nanaimo over the last five years.
The community is asked to support the Bluewish campaign through Friday (March 31) by visiting www.textbluewish.ca or by texing ‘bluewish’ to 80100 to donate $5, $10 or $20 to the foundation; Pacific Blue Cross will make a matching donation.
