The Save-On-Foods Nanaimo Dragonboat Festival isn’t that far away.
The early registration deadline is Saturday (April 15) for participation in the festival, to be held July 7-9 at Maffeo Sutton Park.
The event will be celebrating its 14th year. Organizers estimate last year’s festival drew 8,000 spectators and participants.
