Burger is a recently retired University of Victoria professor and a seabird biologist. He visits Antarctica regularly on adventure-tourism vessels. He will discuss climate change’s unexpected impacts on the Antarctic and its wildlife.
Also at the meeting, there will be discussion about reviving the Nanaimo Naturalists’ Club.
Monday’s meeting is at 7 p.m. at VIU, building 180, room 134. Anyone is welcome.
