If a summer’s worth of bottles and cans are taking up space in the garage, Nanaimo and Area Land Trust can put them to good use.
The next NALT Bottles for the River fundraiser takes place Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Country Club Centre parking lot.
Anyone who cannot make the bottle drive can drop refundables off at Nanaimo Bottle Depot, 1805 Freemont Rd., or Mostar Bottle Depot, 4-4151 Mostar Rd.,
