Grand Hotel breakfast supports SPCA
It’s always important to start the day with a good breakfast.
And a pancake breakfast at the Grand Hotel Saturday (Aug. 15) is especially important as proceeds benefit Nanaimo and District SPCA.
Pancakes, sausages and other goodies will be served up by the Grand’s kitchen staff as well as Mayor John Ruttan.
The fundraising breakfast begins at 10 a.m. Prices are $5 for children and $10 for adults.
The Nanaimo SPCA will have some of its own ‘surprise guests’ at the fundraiser and there will be raffle prizes from Fairwinds Golf Course, Morningstar Golf Course, Home Outfitters, Woodgrove Centre and Bloomin’ Blossoms.
