Association targets human emotions
Nanaimo Family Life Association tackles a full range of human emotions through a series of evening spring workshops.
The workshops run Tuesdays beginning April 9 from 6-9 p.m. at 1070 Townsite Rd., and include: healthy self-esteem, April 9; effective communication, April 16; personal boundaries, April 23; assertiveness skills, April 30; stress management, May 7; managing anger, May 14, conflict resolution, May 21; grief and loss, May 28; and creating change, June 4.

Nanaimo Family Life Association was founded in 1967 as a non-profit private society, the first family life centre to operate in B.C.
It’s mission is to provide support to children, youth, and families in the community.
