Pets grace pages of caledar
Pet owners have the chance to make their furry friend a star in the B.C. SPCA’s Animal Lovers’ calendar contest.
A dozen pets will win one of 12 coveted spots in the non-profit society’s popular annual calendar.
Until April 19, guardians can visit www.spca.bc.ca to upload a photo, tell a heartwarming story about their pet and customize a contest webpage where other visitors can vote for their pet.
It costs $10 to enter and votes cost $1 each. Visitors can vote as often as they like for their favourite animal.
The 12 animals with the most votes at noon April 19 win a spot in the calendar and an additional 10 animals will win a goody bag.
The Animal Lovers’ Calendar is sent to supporters every year and is also for sale at branches and online in September.
