Library marks free reading
All branches of Vancouver Island Regional Library are celebrating Freedom to Read Week until Saturday (March 2).
Terri Doughty, professor at Vancouver Island University, will be giving a presentation at the Nanaimo Wellington branch on Thursday (Feb. 28), 7-8 p.m., entitled Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Book? Censorship and Children’s Literature.
