Workshops tackle human emotions

Nanaimo Family Life Association tackles a full range of human emotions through a series of afternoon workshops this spring.

The workshops run Mondays beginning March 4 from 12:30-3 p.m. at 1070 Townsite Rd., and include: healthy self-esteem, March 4; effective communication, March 11; personal boundaries, March 18;  assertiveness skills, March 25; stress management, April 8; managing anger, April 15, conflict resolution, April 22; grief and loss, April 22; and creating change, May 6.

Nanaimo Family Life Association was founded in 1967 as a non-profit private society, the first family life centre to operate in B.C.

It’s mission is to provide support to children, youth, and families in the community.
